I recently submitted Naz Hamid’s site for Frances Cycles to welovetxp.com, a site that promotes the fabulous work that designers and developers are doing using Textpattern, the content management system that runs this and a number of the other sites that I’ve built in the past.
Naz’s work, which you can see a whole lot more of at weightshift.com, really is inspiring stuff. The Frances Cycles site, which uses Textpattern for its blog, is a beautifully judged example of ‘less is more’, marrying some well-written copy with evocative imagery that really captures the spirit and soul of this Californian bespoke frame maker.
Happily, my submission coincidentally took welovetxp.com to the five hundred submissions mark – it’s well worth an explore on a quiet day to see some great design examples.
